About the photos
The first images show the real specimen photographed by the supplier, cut out without retouching the fossil and placed in a studio scene (background and black display ledge added for presentation, lighting adjusted; where the original photo was cropped, that side fades into shadow instead of being filled in; the specimen itself is not altered). The supplier’s original, unedited photo follows.
