How wholesale lots work
In wholesale fossils and minerals, a lot is a group of similar pieces sold together at one price: a flat (a shallow tray of graded specimens), a counted lot, or bulk material sold by weight. Lots keep the per-piece cost low and make restocking predictable. Retail customers see our one-of-a-kind specimens elsewhere on the site; this category is for trade buyers.
- Approved accounts: apply for a wholesale account. After manual approval, lot prices become visible and lots can be ordered online.
- Tiered quantity discounts: larger orders receive higher discount tiers, applied automatically in the cart for approved accounts.
- Quotes: for mixed containers, custom grading or very large volumes, use Request a Quote.
- Export paperwork: shipments to the USA and Europe leave Morocco with legal export documents. See Shipping.
- Disclosure: each lot states locality, geological age, size range, weight and whether pieces are natural, repaired or restored.
Ordering wholesale fossils takes three steps: apply and wait for approval, choose lots online or request a quote, then confirm shipping and documents. Lot listings show counts, size ranges and weights so you can compare value across categories.
Who we are
FossilSupplier is based in Midelt, Morocco, and has exhibited for 15 years at the Tucson, Denver, Munich and Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines shows. Wholesale fossils from Morocco are our main business; retail collector specimens are secondary.

Where Moroccan wholesale fossils come from
Three geological sources supply most of the Moroccan trade.
The Kem Kem Group (southeastern Morocco). These Cenomanian (early Late Cretaceous) river deposits, formally divided into the Gara Sbaa and Douira formations, yield mostly isolated teeth and bones of fishes, crocodyliforms, pterosaurs and dinosaurs dominated by large predators such as Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus[1]. The same monograph notes that much material reaches science through commercial collectors, often without precise locality data, which is why stated locality is valuable. See Dinosaur Fossils.
The phosphate basins (central Morocco). The Ouled Abdoun and Ganntour basins hold a marine phosphate series spanning the Late Cretaceous (including the Maastrichtian) to the early Eocene, rich in shark teeth, coprolites and other vertebrate remains[2]. These deposits supply shark teeth and mosasaur fossils.
The Anti-Atlas (Paleozoic). Marine rocks of the Anti-Atlas supply trilobites, orthoceras and goniatites.
| Kem Kem Group | Cenomanian; teeth and bones of dinosaurs, crocodyliforms, pterosaurs, fishes |

| Phosphate basins | Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian) to early Eocene; shark teeth, marine reptiles |
| Anti-Atlas | Paleozoic; trilobites, orthoceras, goniatites |
| Minerals | Mibladen, Touissit, Bou Azzer, El Hammam |
| Typical lot formats | Flats, counted lots, bulk by weight |
Restoration and grading
Composite fossils, heavy restoration and outright fakes exist in the Moroccan trade, especially in mosasaur jaws, trilobites and dinosaur teeth. For wholesale fossils, the practical question is what share of pieces is natural, repaired or restored, and each lot states it. Mineral and stone lots are described the same way; see Moroccan Minerals and Stones & Rocks.

Frequently asked questions
How do I see wholesale lot prices?
Apply for a wholesale account through the wholesale page. Applications are approved manually. Once approved, you can log in to see lot prices, order online and receive tiered quantity discounts automatically in the cart. For mixed or very large orders, use the Request a Quote form instead.
What is a fossil flat?
A flat is a shallow tray or box of similar fossils or minerals, graded by size or quality and sold at one lot price. It is the standard trade unit for shop stock such as shark teeth, small trilobites, ammonites or vanadinite. Each listing states the count or weight, size range and condition.
Do wholesale fossils ship with export documents?
Yes. Wholesale orders to the USA and Europe leave Morocco with legal export paperwork. Import rules differ by country, so check any local requirements before ordering. The Shipping page explains handling and documentation, and you can ask questions through the quote form.
Are wholesale fossils restored?
Some Moroccan fossils are repaired or restored, which is normal in the trade when disclosed. Each lot states the locality, geological age, size, weight and whether pieces are natural, repaired or restored, so you can label them correctly for your customers. Composite or misleading pieces should never be sold as natural.
