These terms apply to every order placed on FossilSupplier.com, retail and wholesale. FossilSupplier.com is operated by a fossil supply company based in Midelt, Morocco; the seller of every order is this Moroccan company. By placing an order you accept these terms.
1. Natural fossils and minerals
- Every fossil and mineral is a natural object. Colour, shape and size vary from piece to piece.
- Unique specimens (stock of 1) are sold exactly as photographed. Wholesale lots are similar in species, size range and quality to the lot photos; individual pieces differ.
- Each listing states the locality, geological age and size when known, and whether a specimen is natural, repaired or restored. We send a restoration report on request before purchase, and we answer before you pay.
2. Prices and currency
- Prices are in US dollars (USD). Retail prices are shown to all visitors; wholesale lot prices are shown only to approved wholesale accounts.
- Wholesale tier discounts are applied automatically in the cart by total quantity. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote.
- Prices do not include import duties, taxes or customs fees in the destination country (see section 5).
3. Wholesale accounts
- Wholesale accounts are for businesses that resell fossils and minerals (shops, dealers, museum shops, decorators). Applications are reviewed manually and may be accepted or declined.
- A minimum order value applies to wholesale orders and is shown in the cart.
- Lot prices and discounts are confidential and for the approved account holder only.
4. Orders and payment
- An order is confirmed when payment is received or, for quoted wholesale orders, when the quote is accepted in writing and payment is received.
- Unique specimens are reserved only once payment is received.
- If an item cannot be supplied, we refund the amount paid for that item in full.
5. Shipping, export documents and import duties
- Orders ship from Morocco with legal export paperwork. Packing, handling time and carriers are described on the Shipping page.
- Import duties, taxes, customs fees and any import permits required in the destination country are paid by the buyer. If a parcel is refused or returned because these were not paid, the return shipping cost is deducted from any refund.
- Risk passes to the buyer on delivery. Shipments are packed for international transit; please report transit damage as described in our Refund & Returns policy.
6. Returns and refunds
Returns, damage claims and refunds are handled under our Refund & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Legality and use
We sell fossils and minerals that may be legally exported from Morocco with the corresponding paperwork. The buyer is responsible for checking that the items may be imported and resold in their country.
